THE STORY SO FAR
The Warrior Celt was established on December 17th 1996. So, this year we will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary! Started by Andy after three and a half years of brain sucking teaching of English and the fact that there was very little in the way of authentic pubs in Tokyo it has now become the hub of the local community

THE FREINDLIEST IN TOKYO!
Almost all new visitors to the Warrior Celt comment on the atmosphere of the place. It is the kind of place where it is almost impossible to have a quiet drink on your own if the customers notice that you are new to the pub. From all of us here we'd like to say a big thank you to all your many years.

What is said about us
" Is often said that "You can't choose your family, but you can choose your friends," but have you heard these? "You can't choose your family, but you can ignore their phone calls" or "You can't choose your family, but you can choose to live as far away from them as possible." For many of us foreigners living in Tokyo, living far from one's family whether by choice or circumstances is where we're at. Some of us are lucky to be able to call the Warrior Celt our "local" and for misfit, freaks with bad habits and worse vices (like me), there is no HOME like this PLACE. Here's to the Warrior Celt global family!!! Long may you run!!! "
" 英語、日本語、いろーんな国々とのコミュニケーションが取れる素晴らしいパブです。 火曜日、金曜日、土曜日はライブミュージックがあります。下町の文化と、インターナショナルな文化が入り混じった素晴らしいパブです。 A place you'll meet a broad spectrum of friendly folks from all around the world. The most friendly place I've found in Tokyo. They have live music on Tuesday's, Friday's and Saturday's. I recommend this place to anyone who's in Tokyo! "
" This was my favorite English speaking pub during my half-year stay in Tokyo . Sure, they don't have 100 beers on tap and it's often very smoky, but this is the kind of place where the owners ask your name and have a beer with you; it's where the customer's are friendly, local, and regular. This is the bar that felt like home. Thanks for the great pub and good music! "
